Thank you for your letter.   I regret very much I cannot see you at present owing to the new term and the engagements which I have undertaken.

 

My advice would be to write to the Home Secretary since you have been invited to give evidence to the Home Office Committee of Enquiry on Privacy.  I would not advise you at present to write to the Crown.

 

I am sorry I cannot see you when you call but I shall have the Thai Ambassador with me and then I have a Memorial Service after lunch.
