Fighting for freedom is costly

A PMPC (Product and Managerial Policy Consultants) statement of Income and Expenditure for the period 1 Apr 1969 to 6 Apr 1970, (filed 21 Aug 1971) showed that my only income was fees from Twickenham College of Technology for £10.50 and expenditure (travelling, subscriptions etc and part phone and car) was £129.94.

By this time, to keep going I had raised money by surrendering and taking out loans on FSSU Pension insurance policies, obtained a bank overdraft and was using up a small legacy from my mother.

Encounter at Oxford with Cambridge-bound Russian physicist

This is when I met the Russian physicist at breakfast at St. Catherine's College, Oxford.  He was on his way to the Engineering Laboratory, Cambridge.
