IT IS HEREBY AGREED BETWEEN MARCONI INSTRUMENTS LIMITED of ENGLISH ELECTRIC HOUSE, STRAND, LONDON, WC2 (hereinafter called "the Company") and HAROLD VINCENT BECK of 6 Manland Way Harpenden in the County of Hertford (hereinafter called "the Employee") as follows:-

1. The Employee's employment with the Company shall terminate on the 12th February 1966

2. The Company shall pay the Employee the sum of £1512.10.0d. as compensation for loss of office such sum to be paid to the Employee without deduction of tax (subject to approval of H.M. Inspector of Taxes) [initialed] on the 12th February 1966

3. The Employee shall accept the said sum of £1512.l0.-d. in full and final satisfaction and discharge of all claims damages and/or causes of action which he has against the Company PROVIDED ALWAYS that nothing herein contained shall prejudice the Employee's right to receive a return of his superannuation contributions (less any allowance for tax) or his rights under an Agreement between the Employee and the Company dated 20th February 1962 relating to a British Patent application Number 36137

4. The Employee shall be at liberty on or after the 12th February 1966 to take up employment with any Company firm or business The Employee shall however keep secret all confidential' information which he may have obtained with regard to the business and affairs of the Company

5. The Company will not do anything to prejudice the Emp1oyee's obtaining other employment

6. The Company having lent the Employee the sum of £l000 and the Employee having repaid £63l.5.-d. of this sum the balance of £368.15.-d. shall be repaid without interest at the rate of £17 per month the first payment to be made on the 12th March 1966 and subsequent payment on the 12th day of every succeeding month
